The Fly Trap
The Fly Trap is a historic restaurant. It dates back into the 1800s. The whole restaurant is it’s own uniqueness vibe. From the moment you enter the restaurant to your table. It’s definitely a great place to take a guest, friends, family or date. The food are excellent and the drinks were fun to try. Each drink had it’s own unique flavor.
Each table has it’s own unique decoration. Our table had a matchbox for the QR to the menu. Other tables had different items for the QR menu. Our glassware were different styles and even our bottle of water. It just made it fun just to see what type of glass we end up with.
Baby Carrots
The restaurant did an excellent with the baby carrots. For a veggie, it was extremely tasty. The mixture of seasons complimented the carrots with just the right tender texture.
Smoked Trout and Duck Croquettes
I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of each small plate however I have a picture of them on my plate. On the right is the Smoked Trout. It consist of cucumber cut as linguini bustling with flavor. The smoked trout just adds that perfect addition to the flavor. The duck croquettes were amazing with hints of Jalapenos. The combination is perfect appetizing and wanting more for the experience.
Fried Calamari
The calamari was fried perfectly. The batter used was not over bearing with just the right amount of seasoning. You really didn’t need to dip the calamari into the sauce. Although the dip was good as well.
Rigatoni
The rigatoni was perfect. It had the right blend of sauce, beef bolognese and rigatoni.
House Made Gnocchi
The gnocchi was amazing. It was bursting with flavor from the mixture of pesto, mushroom, garlic, shallot, crispy onion, and parmesan.
Hussein in the Membrane
This drink had a combination of sweetness and a hint of tang to it.
Tongue Teaser
The tongue teaser is fitting for this drink. The fun part is the lollipop that comes with the drink.
